Utility Closed-Cell Foam Disc

Use this foam disc to retain fish hooks or flies, pins or needles in your do-it-yourself compact survival kit or emergency sewing kit. The foam disc measures approximately 4 in. in diameter and is ideally suited for use with Cardinal Gear's 4 in. diameter tin, model #TNF8 (sold separately, see below). The foam disc is slightly corrugated. It is hand-cut, and so might exhibit some very minor irregularities.

This foam disc can be adhered to the inside of the TNF8 tin using different adhesives. We found that an industrial hot melt glue, available from your local hardware store, works quite satisfactorily. The disc will usually friction fit in the bottom portion of the tin without the need for adhesives.

Model TNF8 tin is sold separately. Availability of the foam discs varies with demand. Production capacity is limited.
