We stock 3 colors. Green or yellow are brightest, enough so to permit food preparation, map reading or trail marking. Red preserves night vision but does not have the same perceived level of illumination.
These chemical lightsticks are safe and easy to use. To operate, remove the lightstick from the foil wrapper, bend slightly to break the inner vial and then shake. The chemical used is non-toxic, but can irritate eyes and stain fabric. There's no fire to cause burns and the inner vial is safely encapsulated by the flexible outer sheath.
