Safe Water

Not all water purification devices or treatments are the same.

• The AquaStraw and Chlor-floc for water purification and sediment removal
• Potable Aqua and PA Plus purify water but do not reduce suspended sediment in the water
• Filtering products like H2OnDemand or the Outback Water Bottle from Bota of Boulder, the Mini MicroFilter from Katadyn and the Aquamira Frontier Pro filter remove sediment, bacteria, protozoa and even some metals and chemicals

All of these products turn biologically unsafe water into drinking water, but they are not intended to treat salt water.
