This stainless steel wire is partially annealed to make it pliable, yet strong. The wire is sufficient for use in an emergency for trapping small game. Steel wire is less susceptible to breaking in cold temperatures compared to brass wire commonly provided in some commercial survival kits. Cardinal Gear has adopted this wire for use in our survival kits. Proudly made in the USA.
